This course is only available to participants who have previously completed ImaginationGYM training (See below)

New ImaginationGYM® Training Course in Palliative Care

The course will cover the ImaginationGYM® methodology in a new format to create a calm and relaxing space to work with the needs of the person who is dying, their family and friends and also focus on the needs of the staff members who are working with the dying.

The content will cover the use of a guided relaxation story called “The Golden Path” which works with the relaxation process of story, music and sound effects. This audio programme has been designed to work exclusively with those in palliative care. It adheres to the traditional ImaginationGYM® method of being externally non-intrusive but to stimulate feelings of well being from within. We will also cover the use of aromatherapy oils and light touch therapy in palliative care. There will be feedback and journaling work for 2 months to get the Certification.

Additional Information

  • ImaginationGYM® Palliative Care 1 Day training course is only available for people who have completed our Level 1 Dementia Care 2 day course, Practitioner Level Training or Update Courses and have current certification and updates. (Date of training completed and Certification Number)

    If you have not completed an ImaginationGYM course before you will need to complete the Palliative Care 2 Day programme to achieve certification. Please check Courses 2020 for these courses.

    These courses commence at 10.00 am and run to 4.30 pm each day. Course Fee is 150 euro per day

    A discount of 20% is being applied to this course as an introductory offer, so the actual fee for this particular course will be 130 euro and this will b reflected in your invoice

    Resources need to run The Golden Path Palliative care sessions cost 106 euro

    The resource pack contains specifically selected quality assured oils, room spray and The Golden Path and music therapy CD
